Sending love, care, and wishes for serenity from my heart to yours, Vicki. Thank you for this reminder of what really matters, and how our time in this form is so precious. ❤
Vicki, This piece is so beautifully written, so moving and profound. Impermanence can be a remarkable teacher when we open to it like you have, willing to be present in the moment with what is.
So sorry for this profound loss within your close and loved world. The fruits of connection, community and reflection are no doubt part of the gift and legacy this peer has left for you all. Painful yet rich too it feels from what I can hear in your beautiful words on it. Sending big and heartfelt love from your community afar too. D ❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. It's impossible to predict how those ripples of grief will unfold over the months and years ahead. Please take extra good care of yourself Vicki ❤
So sorry for what sounds like a shocking and sad loss. Yes, losing our peers really hits hard... I lost a dear friend last year, and I have several friends with complicated health conditions, so am bracing myself for the storms to come. I've noticed that with much older people (80s), they seem to take the death of their peers with much more equanimity... I guess that's good, but the price of it makes me quake in my boots a bit! Big love to you, your friend's partner, and the community around you, surrounding her with love xxx
Thank you so much Jody. Yes it has felt very shocking, despite the inevitability of death. The suddenness and complete lack of warning knocked me sideways. Appreciate your thoughtful comments, as always ❤️
